Comfort Inn Blacksburg

The rooms were clean, the staff was very friendly and accommodating. It was exactly what we were looking for.

This hotel was not worth the money we spent. The breakfast buffet was poor. The hot water heater broke so there was no hot water - they shut off the water all together.

Exceptional staff and at-home atmosphere.

This hotel is very convenient to Virginia tech. Even I could find the college and that is saying something. The continental breakfast was well worth it, with waffles, muffins, cereal and a lot of other choices. I would definitely stay here again. ...read more

Overall, I had a pleasant stay at this hotel.

Stayed at this hotel for a concert at Virginia Tech. They offer a free shuttle service from 8am to 8pm. I asked at the counter if they could drop us off at Lane Stadium for the concert, but they said they wouldn't because people drink at concerts. Well, I was pretty angry about this comment, because they assumed I was going to the concert to get wasted, which was not the case. I then asked if they would drop me off close to campus, and they said they wouldn't because I had already asked to be taken to the stadium, and basically implied they knew my intentions which really infuriated me. Even if my intentions were to get wasted, I wouldn't have been drunk until after the concert and their shuttle would be running anymore. Their lack of professionalism in handling this matter has influenced my decision to never stay there again. ...read more
